Creatives needed for Creative Beeston’s next step

The Finders Keepers Melbourne

Creative Beeston has been having a major redevelopment over the past few months. There has been a lot of thought gone into the direction and future plans and this is starting to come neatly into place.

One new addition to the CB brand has been the amazing Mair Perkins who has created some illustrations to compliment the new web design which will be going live in the next few weeks with a bunch of new features.

The website will be central to what we will be using so a lot of time has been spent getting the content and features spot on and now it is time to start testing.

It has caused conflict at times which is to be expected with the amount of disturbance but the one thing that has really come out is the sheer drive for Beeston to succeed.

Music to our ears

oxjamlogoroundWow, this post is late but there has been a lot going on.

I volunteer with the Oxjam Beeston Music Festival team to put on a music festival, believe it or not, that takes over a town and raises money for Oxfam.

This year there were 53 different Oxjams including large cities such as Birmingham, Manchester, Newcastle and Leicester. In Beeston we had a fantastic response from the venues are artists and we were able to put on 14 stages in 12 venues hosting over 80 acts. Those numbers alone are mind blowing but there is one that makes all the stress worth it.

Beeston raised a huge £13,000 for Oxfam which was the 3rd highest in the 53.
